Training and Instructional Design Specialist, Service Delivery

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement training curricula utilizing various instructional methods and media.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to evaluate training needs and establish clear learning objectives.

• Create engaging learning activities, exercises, and supplementary materials (such as audio, video, simulations, and role plays).

• Develop design documents, content outlines, and instructional resources that align with learning goals.

• Set evaluation criteria and create assessment tools to gauge learner performance and the effectiveness of training.

• Facilitate training programs for new hires and ongoing sessions, emphasizing customer service, product knowledge, and system navigation.

• Track learner progress and offer management recommendations on training effectiveness and opportunities for enhancement.

• Provide refresher and advanced training to strengthen and broaden associate capabilities.

• Advise leadership on best practices in instructional design and training strategies.

• Review and continuously enhance existing training programs and processes to maintain effectiveness and relevance.

• Organize training schedules and logistics for course delivery.

• Assess and provide feedback on external training programs, tools, and systems being considered.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Systems Design (ISD), Educational Technology, Business, or a related discipline.

• At least 5 years of experience in training, instructional design, or process development.

• Comprehensive understanding of learning theories and instructional design models.

• Background in lesson planning and curriculum development.

• Proficiency in course development tools and familiarity with at least one Learning Management System (LMS).

• Capability to produce instructional content, including written materials, audio scripts, and video scripts.

• Experience with storyboarding and visual design principles.

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, or similar project tracking software).
