Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Facilitate both individual and group training sessions on the EHR system.

• Customize training methods for clinical, administrative, and technical audiences.

• Deliver hands-on instruction in both classroom environments and live patient care scenarios.

• Act as a subject matter expert on the organization's EHR platform.

• Collaborate with IT and EHR specialists to pinpoint and resolve user issues or system modifications.

• Maintain a continuous feedback loop program to collect and address user input regarding training.

• Partner with instructional designers to develop engaging, competency-oriented, and pedagogically sound educational materials.

• Provide individualized coaching and refresher training as necessary.

• Evaluate user needs to identify training gaps or opportunities for enhancing processes.

• Collaborate with leadership to ensure training content aligns with compliance, regulatory, and organizational objectives.

• Utilize adult learning theories to create storyboards for videos and eLearning materials.

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations in all EHR usage.

• Keep thorough records of training attendance, completion rates, and overall effectiveness.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience training users on EHR systems within a healthcare environment.

• Expertise in Patient Accounting/Registration/Scheduling, Charge Services, Emergency Department, and Provider Training.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, Education, or a related field (preferred).

• Preferred proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Google Workspace, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Articulate 360, Captivate, Dragon, Snip & Sketch, Snipping Tool, Storyline, and various Learning Management Systems (LMS).

• Strong knowledge of HIPAA and requirements for healthcare documentation.

• Exceptional presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to adjust training approaches to accommodate various learning styles and skill levels.
