This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Participate in a comprehensive 3-month training program that includes both site and office-based components.
• Detect and monitor asbestos presence in various buildings.
• Assess airborne fibre concentrations prior to commencing work.
• Conduct leak tests during ongoing work activities.
• Perform post-work air testing to ensure safety of the areas involved.
• Communicate any health and safety issues to clients and halt work when necessary.
• Compile final project documentation, including waste records, for building safety files.
• Travel frequently to client locations throughout the region.
• Collaborate with clients in sectors such as defence, infrastructure, service, retail, and heritage.
• No prior experience is required.
• Capability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
• Interest in diverse site environments and willingness to travel to different locations regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and enthusiasm for analytical tasks, especially those involving microscopes.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• A full manual UK driving licence is mandatory.
• Eagerness to engage in intensive training and acquire skills in asbestos air monitoring.
