Trade Platform Operations Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus.

📋 Description

• Instrument the MT4/MT5 infrastructure and establish a reliable uptime baseline for the first time.

• Transition MT4/MT5 operations to an in-house model.

• Develop a comprehensive monitoring stack.

• Create recovery playbooks.

• Minimize client-facing incidents and the associated financial repercussions.

• Recruit and organize a small team capable of providing genuine 24/7 timezone coverage.

• Strategize resilient shift schedules and eliminate single points of failure.

• Oversee relationships with vendors such as MetaQuotes, Microsoft, and others.

• Implement preventive maintenance and incident-response protocols.

• Engage in the cross-functional network access workstream.

• Operate a structured 24/7 platform operations function.

• Report directly to the CEO, transitioning to the CTO after establishing baseline operations.

• Take ownership of uptime and reliability improvement metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in managing MT4/MT5 server infrastructure for a brokerage or proprietary trading firm.

• Practical experience in infrastructure-level production operations.

• Proven track record in building or significantly enhancing monitoring and incident-response frameworks.

• Familiarity with playbooks and preventive maintenance strategies.

• Experience using observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, or similar.

• Capability to lead or take responsibility for a small 24/7 operations team.

• Experience in timezone planning and ensuring shift resilience.

• Skill in eliminating single points of failure.

• Ability to diagnose issues and develop processes without an existing playbook.

• Comfort in owning platform reliability and outcomes related to incident reduction.

• Authority to hire and structure an operations team.
