This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Draft documentation for defined contribution plans.
• Execute plan year-end non-discrimination testing, which includes ADP, ACP, Top-heavy, 410(b), 415, and 414(s).
• Complete IRS filings such as 5500, 5558, and 5330, and provide support to auditors.
• Manage distributions, which encompass withdrawals, in-service distributions, required minimum distributions (RMDs), loans, and hardship withdrawals.
• Maintain regular client communication to address daily service inquiries and oversee vendor management.
• Collaborate with vendors to enhance data collection and analysis through automation.
• Keep updated client and due diligence files.
• Take notes during meetings and draft minutes for various investment committees.
• Aid in plan applications, review plan documents, and assist with plan implementation.
• Provide support to the 401(k) Department with industry knowledge.
• Investigate and promote initiatives aimed at boosting efficiency, productivity, compliance, and profitability.
• Adhere to agency management system data standards and ensure the maintenance of complete and accurate information.
• Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• A minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience.
• Familiarity with various retirement plan types and their operations.
• Knowledge of ERISA guidelines and regulations.
• Experience working with small to mid-sized clients (250+ employees).
• Professional designation (e.g., ASPPA, NIPA) or progress towards obtaining a designation is preferred.
• Strong understanding of IRS and ERISA regulations.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a knack for relationship-building, negotiation, and problem-solving.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong presentation skills, capable of conveying information to a diverse audience.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

• Proficient in planning, organizing, and prioritizing tasks.
