Tour Leader – Greece

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Consistently provide an exceptional level of customer service and ensure traveller satisfaction.

• Offer leadership to travellers and take responsibility for their well-being.

• Continuously enhance your understanding of the visited country, including its culture, religion, current affairs, environment, and more.

• Possess detailed knowledge of hotels, attractions, restaurants, transportation, souvenirs, pricing, and related information.

• Establish a network of information sources and contacts that can assist when needed.

• Maintain a valid passport and visa at all times.

• Keep vaccinations and preventive medications current.

• Serve as the daily guide, interpreter, and manager for the group.

• Address traveller issues and concerns directly, ensuring their satisfaction.

• Adhere to the established travel itinerary as closely as possible.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience living, travelling, studying, or working abroad is a crucial requirement for this role.

• Language proficiency: All G Adventures tours are conducted in English, so a strong command of the English language is essential. Regional language skills are also highly valued.

• Knowledge of Greek is preferred.

• Excellent Leadership and Communication Skills: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across various contexts.

• Resourcefulness: Capacity to remain composed and collected in unpredictable and stressful situations.

• Awareness of and Commitment to Sustainable Tourism: Dedication to environmentally and culturally responsible tourism practices.

• Good Health and High Energy Level: CEOs must manage daily stresses and endure long and tiring days.

• First Aid/CPR Certification: Preparedness to act in case of emergencies is required.

• Background in basic accounting/budgeting: Experience with budgets or developing personal budgets is advantageous.

• Computer literacy: Proficiency in the Internet, E-mail, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel is essential.

• Willingness to travel throughout Europe.
