Tour Leader – German Speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

• Lead and Inspire: Take charge of your group by providing clear insights about each destination, sharing your passion for Portugal's captivating culture, and crafting joyful, unforgettable experiences for travelers.

• Plan and Prepare: Stay organized, familiarize yourself with the daily itinerary, and ensure smooth operations. Always have a Plan B ready to adapt to any unforeseen circumstances.

• Support and Communicate: Help travelers with their inquiries and deliver exceptional customer service, even in challenging situations.

• Ensure Safety and Quality: Place traveler safety as a priority and guarantee that our partners adhere to our standards of quality, safety, and sustainability.

• Handle Emergencies: Tackle challenges effectively, maintaining composure under pressure while following established procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Passion & Knowledge: A genuine appreciation for Portugal's culture, people, and history, along with a thorough understanding of its traditions, daily life, and current events.

• Language Skills: Proficiency in advanced German (C1) for client interactions and a good command of Portuguese (B2) to facilitate tour operations.

• Experience: Residing in Portugal currently or having lived here for a minimum of one year, ensuring a strong personal connection to the country.

• Necessary Certifications: Possess all required permissions to work as a tour coordinator and/or guide (First Aid Certification, CPR, and Heimlich maneuver).

• Personal Qualities: Well-organized, dependable, driven, and adept at finding solutions under pressure.

• Team Skills: Collaborative and communicative, exhibiting a positive and professional demeanor.
