This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
• Consistently provide exceptional customer service and ensure traveller satisfaction.
• Offer guidance to travellers and take responsibility for their welfare.
• Enhance understanding of the countries, cultures, and current events being visited.
• Serve as the daily guide, interpreter, and group manager.
• Address travellers' issues and concerns to ensure their satisfaction.
• Keep the travel itinerary updated and implement necessary adjustments.
• Arrange or confirm bookings for accommodations, transportation, and activities.
• Support travellers during optional activities and meals.
• Train new Leaders as required.
• A Passion for Adventure Travel: Previous experience living, travelling, studying, or working abroad is essential.
• Language Proficiency: Strong command of the English language and a region-specific language is crucial.
• Outstanding Leadership and Communication Skills: Proven experience in leadership roles and effective communication.
• Resourcefulness: Ability to stay calm and composed under pressure.
• Commitment to Sustainable Tourism: Serve as a role model for travellers in responsible tourism practices.
• Good Health and High Energy: Capability to manage the daily stresses of travel.
• First Aid/CPR Certification: Necessary to respond to emergencies.
• Background in Basic Accounting/Budgeting: Experience with budgets is beneficial.
• Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Internet, Email, Microsoft Word, and Excel is required.
