This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kenya.

📋 Description

• Consistently provide exceptional customer service and ensure traveller satisfaction.

• Lead and oversee the well-being of travellers.

• Continuously enhance understanding of the visited country, including its culture, religion, current affairs, and environment.

• Maintain a valid passport and visa.

• Serve as the daily guide, interpreter, and group manager.

• Address traveller issues and concerns, prioritizing passenger satisfaction.

• Adhere to the established travel itinerary, making adjustments only when necessary.

• Mentor new Leaders as needed, sharing trip-related information.


⛳️ Requirements

• Passion for Adventure Travel: A genuine enthusiasm for exploring vibrant and exciting regions of the world. Prior experience living, travelling, studying, or working abroad is essential.

• Eligibility to work in East Africa.

• Language Proficiency: A strong command of the English language is required, and familiarity with region-specific languages is highly beneficial.

• Outstanding Leadership and Communication Skills: Proven experience in leadership roles with effective communication abilities.

• Resourcefulness: Capacity to remain composed and collected in unpredictable and high-pressure situations.

• Commitment to Sustainable Tourism: Dedicated to environmentally and culturally responsible tourism practices.

• Good Health and High Energy Levels: Ability to manage daily pressures, both mental and physical.

• First Aid/CPR Certification: Standard First Aid Certification and CPR are required at the commencement of the contract.

• Transportation to Training Location: Responsible for reaching the training trip's starting point.

• Background in Basic Accounting/Budgeting: Experience in budget management or personal budgeting is an asset.

• Computer Literacy: Proficient in using the Internet, E-mail, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel is essential.

• Willingness to travel throughout East Africa.
