Tour Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Assume responsibility for the program's overall quality and provide an unforgettable experience for travelers.

• Share detailed information regarding the destination, program, and schedule.

• Comprehend travelers' expectations, particularly those of IC Members, and prioritize their enjoyment during the trip.

• Reconfirm all services with the GCT representative to foster a cordial and professional relationship.

• Attend to travelers' feedback, document notes, and communicate effectively with the GCT Office.

• Lead guided tours in the Canadian Maritimes and/or Canadian Rockies.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in guiding tours within the specified destinations.

• A strong passion for the destinations, including their people, culture, and traditions.

• Capability to connect travelers with local individuals beyond typical tourist spots.

• In-depth knowledge of the destinations’ history, daily life, nature, and culture.

• Demonstrated flexibility, teamwork, and leadership abilities.

• Quick decision-making skills to address last-minute changes effectively.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel.
