This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Promote Advarra services by addressing business challenges in the clinical trial process, particularly focusing on Data Monitoring Committee (DMC) reviews.
• Work collaboratively with commercial and operational teams to enhance DMC services for both current clients and prospective sales opportunities.
• Build and nurture relationships with key DMC stakeholders within client organizations.
• Manage DMC opportunities, which includes conducting discovery calls, developing solutions and pricing, preparing proposals, leading bid defense meetings, and overseeing contracting processes.
• Stay informed about new market trends and competitive developments in DMC, sharing potential opportunities with commercial colleagues.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Advarra’s services and capabilities, research client requirements, and pinpoint appropriate solutions.
• Generate new business leads through email outreach, cold calling, attending conferences, and engaging in related sales activities.
• Utilize Salesforce to oversee accounts, opportunities, contacts, activities, and communications.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions and high levels of client satisfaction.
• Assist in establishing and managing quarterly Field Marketing initiatives, which include webinars, conference presentations, customer events, and industry gatherings.
• Organize travel plans to optimize customer engagement and resource utilization.
• Submit expense reports in a timely manner.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales or account management role within the life sciences sector.
• Familiarity with Data Monitoring Committee (DMC) requirements, market demands, and the competitive environment.
• Strong understanding of the clinical research industry, ideally with a focus on study participant protection, or a background that facilitates an easy comprehension of human research protection.
• Capability to develop and implement a sales strategy for a designated territory and key accounts.
• Excellent interpersonal selling abilities.
• Strong business acumen.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in utilizing CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.com.
• Proven experience in selling to existing customers and identifying new sales opportunities.
• Ability to effectively assess customer needs.
• Capacity to work remotely.
• This role necessitates travel 40–60% of the time.
