Title Insurance – Commercial Underwriting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct reviews and analyses of commercial title searches, surveys, and due-diligence documentation.

• Detect and address title challenges, exceptions, and underwriting risks.

• Prepare and sanction title commitments, endorsements, and final policies.

• Collaborate effectively with escrow, production teams, attorneys, and national underwriters.

• Offer insights on intricate deal structures, entity documentation, and closing prerequisites.

• Clearly convey underwriting decisions to internal teams and clients.

• Ensure adherence to state regulations and underwriter standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in commercial title underwriting at either national or regional levels.

• Solid comprehension of commercial real estate transactions, ALTA forms, and endorsements.

• Capability to interpret surveys, legal descriptions, easements, liens, and entity documents.

• Exceptional judgment, analytical abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills with the capacity to support high-volume, fast-paced transactions.

• Familiarity with platforms such as SoftPro, RamQuest, ResWare, or similar systems is advantageous.

• A cooperative attitude with a dedication to accuracy and service.
