This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Supervise all title and escrow operations for residential transactions within your designated market(s).
• Handle a high-volume pipeline of files from initiation to disbursement utilizing internal reporting and analytics.
• Confirm title clearance and file readiness prior to the closing process.
• Examine closing documents before and after signing to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Prepare settlement statements (CDs / ALTA / HUD) and reconcile closing figures and funds.
• Generate disbursement packages and organize files for timely funding.
• Act as the main point of contact for real estate agents and key stakeholders regarding assigned files.
• Proactively provide status updates, timelines, and next steps to guarantee a smooth and predictable closing experience.
• Deliver clear, prompt, and professional responses to inquiries from agents, clients, lenders, and internal teams.
• Anticipate potential issues before they arise and manage client expectations with confidence and transparency.
• Serve as the primary problem solver for file-level issues, title defects, and closing obstacles.
• Utilize sound judgment when prioritizing and escalating issues to the appropriate internal partners.
• Collaborate with support teams to efficiently resolve title defects, documentation problems, and entity review questions.
• Employ critical thinking for unique transaction scenarios across various markets.
• Work closely with operations, title, client engagement, and notary coordination teams to advance files.
• Manage assigned responsibilities for yourself and your support team.
• Provide assistance to teammates when necessary, even beyond your immediate duties.
• Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Prepare transfer deeds where permitted by state regulations.
• Coordinate and support mobile notary closings.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, including TRID, CFPB, RESPA, and state-specific requirements.
• Remain informed on regulatory and industry developments affecting escrow and title operations.
• More than 5 years of experience in conducting residential escrow closings (multi-state experience preferred).
• Proven experience managing files independently from opening to closing.
• Active Escrow License / Title Producer License (or a willingness to obtain, as required by your market).
• Must be a resident of the state of Iowa.
