This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.
β’ Proactively manage and uphold client environments, encompassing Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Entra ID/Azure AD, virtualization platforms, backup systems, and core infrastructure; ensure systems remain healthy, updated, monitored, and functioning with minimal recurring issues and downtime.
β’ Take ownership of escalated support tickets and infrastructure tasks from diagnosis to resolution, including root-cause analysis, permissions management, onboarding/offboarding processes, server upkeep, line-of-business application support, and small to mid-sized technical projects; document actions clearly and communicate effectively with both clients and internal teams.
β’ Enhance client security and resilience by implementing standards for patching, MFA, endpoint hygiene, backup validation, disaster recovery preparedness, system documentation, and change management; identify risks early on and suggest practical remediation measures that enhance stability, security, and long-term service quality.
β’ Perform other relevant tasks as assigned.
β’ Over 3 years of practical experience in systems administration, infrastructure support, or MSP engineering.
β’ Extensive expertise with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, DNS, DHCP, virtualization, backup/recovery, and endpoint management.
β’ Proficient understanding of networking fundamentals, including switching, routing, VPNs, firewalls, and remote access.
β’ Experience with ticket-driven service delivery, documentation, patch management, and proactive maintenance.
β’ Strong troubleshooting abilities with the capacity to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
β’ Experience in an MSP setting supporting multiple client environments.
β’ Familiarity with Azure, Entra ID, Intune, and cloud migration processes.
β’ Knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery testing.
β’ Experience in security-focused or compliance-driven environments.
β’ Relevant certifications from Microsoft, CompTIA, or other vendors.
