Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with customer systems to develop production applications using our Studio and Lens platform, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.

• Produce technical artifacts for clients, including MCP servers, sub-agents, and workflows that will be utilized in production settings.

• Offer exceptional deployment support for Infinitus products within enterprise environments.

• Recognize and document repeatable deployment patterns, providing insights back to our Product and Engineering teams.

• Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in LLM capabilities, implementation strategies, and AI product development stacks.

• Establish best practices for agentic behavior and guide customers through the process of AI adoption.

• Cultivate long-term relationships with customers while actively seeking new opportunities for AI deployment throughout the engagement lifecycle.

• Act as an advocate for Infinitus’s mission in the field.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role, such as Forward Deployed Engineer, or as a Software Engineer with consulting experience. Former technical founders are also encouraged to apply.

• Hands-on experience with LLMs, including advanced prompt engineering, agent development, evaluation frameworks, and large-scale deployment.

• Strong programming abilities, particularly in Python (and ideally in one or more additional languages like Typescript, Java, etc.), along with experience in delivering production applications.

• High level of agency with the capability to navigate ambiguity within complex organizations.

• Collaborative mindset for cross-organizational teamwork, effectively managing competing priorities with integrity.

• A strong passion for promoting safe and beneficial AI systems through innovative technical applications.

• Excellent communication skills for conducting customer discovery and conveying technical concepts to a variety of stakeholders while maintaining a humble and collaborative approach.
