This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Examine detection data, including customer reports, to identify potential enhancements for machine learning models.
β’ Execute tasks that facilitate improved management of false positive detections.
β’ Analyze binary files to assess their authenticity.
β’ Evaluate existing product detections to ensure compliance with company standards.
β’ Address internal inquiries and concerns related to customer threat detections.
β’ Assist internal teams in responding to customer queries regarding threat detection.
β’ Supply the Data Science organization with insights about detection effectiveness and false positive occurrences.
β’ Collaborate with Technical Account Managers, Falcon Complete, Data Scientists, and the Malware Research Center within Data Science.
β’ Familiarity with and understanding of various types and functionalities of malware.
β’ Experience in reverse engineering malware or working within malware operations.
β’ Proficiency in programming and scripting languages, especially Python.
β’ Basic knowledge of binary file attributes such as imports/exports and packers.
β’ Capability to demonstrate practical expertise in research/collection techniques and analytical methods.
β’ General knowledge of threat/risk management and threat/risk assessment principles.
β’ Acquaintance with different operating systems.
β’ Skill in deconstructing complex problems into manageable components.
β’ Proven track record of utilizing AI technologies to improve decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, enhance efficiency, and drive business outcomes.
β’ Experience in a security operations center or a similar environment addressing incidents.
β’ Comprehensive understanding of Windows OS internals and the Windows API.
β’ Knowledge of MacOS and/or Linux systems.
β’ Familiarity with tools used in targeted and criminal cyber intrusions.
β’ Background in exploit and vulnerability analysis.
β’ Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, and assembly.
β’ Experience in machine learning-based threat detections.
