Thermal Mechanical Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• We are seeking a Thermal Mechanical Engineer to become a part of our team, directly reporting to the Thermal Mechanical Engineering Manager.

• Spearhead the design and development of cutting-edge Direct Liquid Cooling solutions, encompassing passive cold plate loops, manifolds, and modular components.

• Encourage strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and clients to guarantee the smooth integration of products into overall cooling system designs and to ensure effective project execution.

• Supervise the fabrication and testing of products, conduct experiments, gather data, and refine designs to achieve the desired thermal and mechanical performance.

• Assist in performing thorough reviews of designs and drawings created by junior team members, offering feedback on designs and approving engineering drawings for manufacturing.

• Generate comprehensive engineering documentation, reports, and deliver articulate technical presentations to effectively convey design concepts, testing results, and recommendations.

• Employ CAD, simulation tools, and engineering principles to support the mechanical and thermal design of cooling products.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• At least 6 years of pertinent experience in thermal/mechanical engineering, along with a P.Eng designation or a comparable professional credential.

• Exceptional proficiency in utilizing CAD and simulation software (e.g., Solidworks, Celsius EC) to produce intricate mechanical designs and drawings, as well as to forecast and enhance performance.

• Strong grasp of fluid dynamics principles, particularly as they pertain to heat transfer and fluid flow within cooling systems.

• Demonstrated capability to design components for mass production using various manufacturing techniques and engineering principles (Statistical tolerance analysis, GD&T, FMEA, DFM & DFA).
