This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Evaluate content that has been translated by machines.

• Edit the content based on established guidelines.

• Verify that translations are accurate and understandable within the fields of mechanical engineering and robotics.

• If shortlisted, complete a linguistic skills assessment lasting between 30 minutes to 1 hour.

• Provide a brief application paragraph outlining your suitability for the role.

⛳️ Requirements

• Willingness to engage with AI-driven workflows and assess machine translation and large language model outputs.

• Dependability and meticulousness; capable of thoroughly reading and adhering to workflow protocols.

• Proficiency in English at a minimum of C1 level.

• Native proficiency in German (Germany) or French (France).

• Expertise in the fields of mechanical engineering or robotics.

• Open to students and individuals at the beginning of their careers.

• Adaptability to new technologies, tools, and methodologies.

• Ability to provide constructive feedback to enhance processes and workflows.

• Familiarity with the Windows operating system.

• Mac users must possess software that allows a genuine Windows OS to operate alongside macOS.

• Knowledge of CAT tools is an advantage.

• Previous experience in machine translation post-editing workflows is beneficial but not mandatory.

• Eagerness to learn new technologies and workflows.

• Must undertake a brief assessment if shortlisted, utilizing the memoQ CAT tool or memoQWeb.
