Therapy Access Manager – New England

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Overseeing designated accounts within a specific region or territory to facilitate access for both providers and patients.

• Educating healthcare providers and their office staff about access services and reimbursement solutions related to United Therapeutics' products.

• Implementing a strategic plan for the region or territory in collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Acting as the payer expert for a specific geographical area and conveying payer updates to key stakeholders.

• Ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the reimbursement process, specialty pharmacies, field reimbursement services, and UT's patient support program.

• Advising on reimbursement issues at the patient level while adhering to established policies.

• Conducting in-person visits to customers.

• Engaging in cross-matrix meetings when appropriate.

• Recording call activities in the customer relationship management tool (CRM).

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, or a PhD/PharmD with 2+ years of relevant experience.

• At least 1 year of experience in Market Access and/or Field Reimbursement for specialty products.

• Familiarity with specialty/biologic products and/or complex reimbursement processes.

• Experience in educating healthcare providers on client-specific patient service programs (such as copay, nurse education, patient assistance, etc.).

• Capacity to navigate ambiguity and solve problems effectively.

• A solution-oriented mindset, robust business acumen, and strong analytical skills.

• Willingness to manage travel requirements exceeding 50%.
