Therapy Access Manager – Mid-Atlantic

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee designated accounts within a specific region or territory, facilitating access for both providers and patients, which includes educating healthcare providers and office personnel on access services and reimbursement solutions related to United Therapeutics' products.

• Implement a strategic plan for a region or territory by collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders, which may involve call center/HUB services, market access, and/or other matrix field partners.

• Act as the payer expert for a designated area and promptly communicate any payer changes to key stakeholders.

• Ensure a comprehensive understanding of the reimbursement process, specialty pharmacies, field reimbursement services, and the patient support program offered by UT.

• Provide guidance on patient-level reimbursement issues while adhering to policies and clearly defined Rules of Engagement.

• Oversee daily activities that facilitate appropriate patient access to United Therapeutics’ products within provider offices and act as a liaison to other patient assistance and access support services provided by United Therapeutics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, or a PhD/PharmD with 2+ years of relevant experience.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Market Access and/or Field Reimbursement supporting specialty products.

• Familiarity with specialty/biologic products and/or complex reimbursement processes.

• Experience in educating healthcare professionals about client-specific patient service programs (e.g., copay assistance, nurse education, patient assistance, etc.).

• Capability to navigate ambiguity and solve problems effectively.

• Solution-oriented mindset, strong business acumen, and robust analytical skills.

• Willingness to manage travel exceeding 50% of the time.
