
Therapist Credentialing Associate – Physical Therapy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +14 more states.
• Oversee the complete credentialing process for designated therapists.
• Examine credentialing documentation and perform primary source verifications.
• Ensure that credentialing files comply with internal, payer, partner, and regulatory standards.
• Keep precise records in HubSpot, CAQH, CMS, and other credentialing systems.
• Engage with therapists concerning missing documents, inconsistencies, and the status of applications.
• Detect and address credentialing challenges, escalating as necessary.
• Collaborate with Enrollment, QA, Therapist Success, and other teams to ensure timely onboarding.
• Take part in departmental and cross-functional initiatives.
• Adjust to evolving workflows, policies, tools, and regulatory standards.
• Contribute to quality assessments, audits, and enhancements of processes.
• Offer informal guidance and share knowledge with Credentialing Associate I team members.
• 1–3 years of experience in healthcare credentialing, provider enrollment, or a closely related operational position.
• Familiarity with credentialing systems and tools, including CRM platforms, CAQH, and CMS-related processes.
• Strong attention to detail and a dedication to delivering accurate, compliant work.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to clearly articulate credentialing requirements to therapists and internal stakeholders.
• Proven track record of managing multiple credentialing files while adhering to deadlines.
• Robust problem-solving skills with the capacity to identify issues, ascertain root causes, and implement solutions.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
• Must reside in one of the eligible U.S. states: Arkansas, Kentucky, Mississippi, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Michigan, Missouri, Indiana, New Jersey, Ohio, Texas (excluding Houston), Tennessee, or Wisconsin.
