This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine, +2 more states.
• Achieve and/or surpass sales targets within a designated territory by crafting, executing, and implementing a comprehensive territory business plan focused on key customer targets.
• Demonstrate expertise in scientific and clinical information regarding Acoramidis.
• Employ a customer-centered approach, engaging clients in clinically relevant discussions using approved resources.
• Analyze sales data effectively to uncover opportunities for business expansion or identify potential concerns within the territory.
• Responsible for the planning and execution of territory business strategies and key company initiatives.
• Uphold company standards by demonstrating honesty, integrity, trust, respect, and accountability, performing all tasks in accordance with company policies and applicable federal and state regulations.
• Collaboratively work with Medical Science Liaisons, Field Reimbursement, Patient Access, HUB, and other essential cross-functional team members to devise strategies that promote high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Create and execute a dynamic territory business plan by evaluating the business landscape, competitive environment, and market conditions to stimulate growth. Build, sustain, and strengthen professional relationships with targeted KOLs, including physicians, medical personnel, and key hospital staff as well as multi-disciplinary center teams.
• Navigate the hospital formulary process and formulate strategies to ensure effective product positioning and availability.
• Proactively foresee potential business obstacles, adjust priorities accordingly, demonstrate adaptability, and devise solutions to tackle challenges.
• Maintain an exemplary level of proficiency in selling techniques, clinical knowledge, market insight, and the business landscape of the territory.
• Collaborate with colleagues and company staff to ensure that corporate objectives and initiatives are met.
• Strategically plan and organize schedules to maximize efficiency and effectively achieve goals and objectives.
• Serve as a representative of the company, presenting a professional image and embodying integrity and respect in all interactions.
• Complete tasks and projects assigned by Sales Leadership.
• Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations, compliance standards, and pharmaceutical guidelines.
• 8+ years of successful experience in the pharmaceutical sector, with 5+ years in Rare Disease/Cardiology/Specialty/ATTR.
• BS/BA degree required; MBA preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in product/indication launches: Proven track record of successfully introducing new products and/or indications in highly competitive markets.
• Strong competencies in leadership, planning and organization, analytics, business insight, decision-making, and problem-solving.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and execute plans effectively.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with a history of personal accountability.
• Capability to influence without authority, both internally and externally.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in utilizing remote technology to engage with clients.
