This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Responsible for the development, enhancement, and implementation of testing strategies, concepts, and plans for complex enterprise applications.
• Plans, manages, and oversees all testing activities throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Coordinates developers, testers, test automation teams, and external service providers on a technical level.
• Ensures compliance with defined quality standards, processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Conducts risk analyses, identifies critical test paths, and derives suitable measures for risk mitigation.
• Manages defect management, including prioritization, tracking, and escalation of critical issues.
• Controls and monitors the execution of integration, system, acceptance, and regression tests.
• Plans and coordinates interface and end-to-end tests in complex system landscapes.
• Prepares regular status reports and communicates testing progress, risks, and quality results to project leadership, management, and clients.
• Advises internal and external stakeholders on testing strategy, testing methodology, and quality assurance.
• Assists with audits as well as compliance with security, data protection, and regulatory requirements.
• Responsible for planning and managing test resources as well as prioritizing tasks within the testing team.
• Supports project management with effort estimation, milestone planning, and resource planning.
• Promotes continuous improvement of testing processes, methods, and quality standards.
• Completed studies or training in the IT field with an IT component or a comparable qualification (e.g., Computer Science, Business Informatics, Technical Informatics, IT-related further education or certificate programs).
• Several years of professional experience in IT projects within the enterprise or large client environment.
• Experience in projects within public administration or similarly regulated environments.
• Proven practical experience in test management with at least 5 years of professional experience and a scope of at least 500 person-days.
• In-depth knowledge of testing complex enterprise applications with distributed components.
• Experience in conducting manual tests, including interface testing.
• Knowledge in the area of interface testing, for example with SOAP UI.
• Project experience in using the Selenium tool.
• Excellent German language skills, both spoken and written, at C1 level or higher according to CEFR.
• Good English language skills for collaboration on international projects.
