Testing Psychologist – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Conduct intake interviews and psychological assessments for individuals of all ages along with their families.

• Administer, analyze, and synthesize psychological test batteries that assess cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and academic performance.

• Offer evidence-based diagnostic insights and actionable recommendations tailored to meet specific individual requirements.

• Work collaboratively with psychometrists and psychometrist assistants, reviewing their work.

• Supervise the administration of tests, scoring procedures, and ensure quality control standards are met.

• Provide compassionate feedback through video sessions and live interactions.

• Keep accurate testing records and prepare comprehensive reports.

• Utilize telehealth platforms for remote assessments and modify testing strategies for virtual delivery.

• Conduct intake interviews, testing sessions, and feedback discussions either virtually or face-to-face.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to enhance patient outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctorate in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from a program accredited by the American Psychological Association or Canadian Psychological Association.

• Licensed as a Clinical Psychologist in at least one state.

• Preferred candidate should be PSYPACT authorized or eligible.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in conducting psychological assessments with children, adolescents, or adults.

• Knowledgeable in assessing complex behavioral health issues, such as ASD, ADHD, mood disorders, anxiety, and trauma.

• Proficient in psychological and psychoeducational assessment instruments, including BASC, Conners, WAIS, and WISC.

• Strong therapeutic communication abilities.

• Skilled in using telehealth platforms and remote assessment tools.

• Experience in conducting assessments virtually.

• Capability to provide care either virtually or in person, from your own office environment.

• Candidates are required to pass a background check successfully.
