Test Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Dominican Republic.

📋 Description

• Oversee, allocate, and track tasks within the QA team across multiple projects.

• Create customized test plans and strategies specific to each project.

• Assist the team in developing and upholding test matrices.

• Ensure comprehensive execution of test cases.

• Offer technical support for testing utilizing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, jMeter, Selenium, and more.

• Identify and manage risks to avoid delays or deviations from scope.

• Liaise with clients and lead negotiation efforts.

• Perform testing on SQL databases and web services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong competency in estimating and planning testing needs.

• Demonstrated experience in monitoring and following up on QA team activities.

• Ability to mentor and guide both manual and automated QA teams.

• Capable of suggesting methodologies and techniques to enhance testing and ensure quality.

• Proficient in organizing team workflows using Kanban boards.

• Experience in managing, creating, and maintaining test assets and documentation.

• ISTQB, TMMi, or a related certification is mandatory.

• Certification in one or more of the following: Scrum, SAFe, Management 3.0, Agile, Lean, PMP (or similar) is required.

• Basic conversational proficiency in English.

• A mindset focused on continuous improvement within the QA field.

• Expertise in tools such as Jira, Trello, TestLink, or comparable platforms for test case management and issue tracking.
