Test Engineer I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assist in daily production testing of electromechanical assemblies by validating test programs.

• Offer training and technical support to operators.

• Execute engineering services for both custom and standard testing equipment.

• Contribute to the design of electronic hardware, software, and equipment.

• Enhance and maintain production testing technologies while ensuring their correct application.

• Diagnose testing issues and aid in equipment upkeep and enhancements.

• Develop technical documentation and evaluate performance metrics.

• Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to boost quality, efficiency, and processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

• Applicable experience in electronics design, whether in a professional or academic environment.

• Preferred relevant internship or co-op experience.

• Excellent communication abilities.

• Capability to collaborate effectively across different functions.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills related to engineering testing.

• Knowledge of manufacturing and electrical safety protocols.

• Professional interaction with frontline production team members in a dynamic, deadline-oriented setting.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

• Familiarity with software development and architecture.

• Understanding of networking and wireless networking concepts.

• Experience with hand and power tools, soldering, and electro-mechanical assembly techniques.
