Junior Software Test Engineer, QA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and uphold automated tests

• Examine failures and probe into unexpected behaviors

• Create and sustain the test automation framework

• Automate API testing procedures

• Facilitate test automation for performance assessments

• Oversee and evaluate test execution results

• Collaborate on test integration and execution utilizing Jenkins

• Aid in the establishment and upkeep of CI/CD pipelines

• Assist in the configuration and maintenance of test environments

• Work with infrastructure and services on AWS

• Leverage AI to aid in test generation and optimization

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of testing methodologies, tools, and practices

• Partner with various teams to ensure the quality and dependability of SoftExpert solutions

⛳️ Requirements

• Fundamental understanding of programming logic

• Basic programming skills, including variables, conditionals, loops, and functions

• Basic knowledge of software testing and the ability to identify both positive and negative scenarios and validations

• Logical reasoning capabilities and the skill to decompose problems into manageable steps

• A keen interest in test automation and software quality assurance

• Strong investigative skills and meticulous attention to detail

• Organizational skills and effective communication abilities

• Openness to learning new tools and technologies

• Nice to have: experience or familiarity with test automation

• Nice to have: experience with an automated testing framework

• Nice to have: understanding of API testing

• Nice to have: knowledge in performance testing

• Nice to have: familiarity with Jenkins and/or CI/CD pipelines
