Senior SDET, Software Development Engineer in Test

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain a comprehensive automation framework that encompasses both API and UI testing across multiple modules.

• Create BDD scenarios utilizing Cucumber/Gherkin and execute corresponding step definitions.

• Construct API tests with Retrofit/OkHttp and UI tests using Playwright, implementing the Page Object Model.

• Integrate testing processes into GitHub Actions to facilitate parallel execution across multiple environments.

• Generate actionable reports using Allure and Cucumber HTML formats.

• Collaborate with developers to enhance test coverage.

• Operate in a testing capacity within a Scrum team.

• Participate in sprint planning, refinement, and delivery processes.

• Ensure the quality of both front-end and back-end systems.

• Contribute to the development of high-performance solutions that adhere to regulatory compliance and quality standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient programming skills in Java 17 or higher.

• Practical experience with BDD frameworks, specifically Cucumber and Gherkin.

• Demonstrated expertise in UI automation using Playwright, Selenium, or similar tools, following the Page Object Model.

• Strong understanding of REST API testing along with experience in HTTP client libraries such as Retrofit/OkHttp or RestAssured.

• Familiarity with JUnit 5 or equivalent test runners.

• Experience in executing tests in parallel.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, particularly GitHub Actions.

• Experience with version control systems, specifically Git/GitHub.

• Proficient in managing Maven or Gradle multi-module builds.

• Comfortable operating within macOS/Linux environments.

• Experience in Bash scripting.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Upper-Intermediate proficiency in English.

• Fluent in Ukrainian.
