This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of test automation and quality assurance for significant product areas or key features.
• Design, implement, and enhance automated testing frameworks for intricate product domains.
• Create, develop, and sustain automated test suites for APIs, user interfaces, and integrations.
• Spearhead the development of test strategies and conduct risk assessments for major features and systems.
• Incorporate automated testing within CI/CD pipelines.
• Detect systemic quality challenges and promote process enhancements across teams.
• Evaluate test coverage, pinpoint deficiencies, and elevate product quality.
• Work collaboratively with engineering, product, and quality leaders on quality efforts and release strategies.
• Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior SDETs and QA team members.
• Assess code and test cases for quality and maintainability.
• Preserve test documentation, reports, and quality metrics.
• Investigate and resolve intricate defects and production issues through debugging and root cause analysis.
• Champion quality and the adoption of best engineering practices.
• Make significant technical decisions in uncertain situations and prioritize essential tasks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in software development and test automation.
• Advanced expertise in several programming languages and test automation frameworks.
• Extensive experience in designing, constructing, and maintaining automation frameworks, including Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, and RestAssured.
• Strong knowledge of API, UI, and integration testing.
• Proficient in integrating and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
• Skilled in developing test strategies, conducting risk analyses, and architecting tests.
• Advanced skills in debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Solid comprehension of database systems and advanced SQL.
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as DataDog and NewRelic.
• Exceptional cross-functional communication and mentoring abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across various functions.
