This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, and uphold comprehensive test cases, scenarios, and scripts that align with business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Assess business requirements, user stories, workflow documentation, and acceptance criteria to guarantee thorough testing coverage.
• Create positive, negative, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance test scenarios that support enterprise healthcare applications.
• Generate and manage test data that aids both manual and automated testing efforts.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, developers, Test Engineers, and project stakeholders to clarify requirements and confirm expected system functionality.
• Ensure requirements traceability between business needs, test cases, defects, and production releases is maintained.
• Assist with Configuration and Integration Testing (CIT), deployment validation, and activities ensuring production readiness.
• Analyze test execution outcomes and suggest enhancements to testing strategies and overall software quality.
• Keep testing documentation, test repositories, and quality records organized to support governance and audit processes.
• Encourage continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for enhancing testing methodologies, documentation standards, and quality assurance processes.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in developing software test cases, scripts, and documentation within enterprise IT environments.
• Proven experience in translating business requirements into detailed testing scenarios and acceptance criteria.
• Experience in maintaining requirements traceability throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or other hybrid software development methodologies.
• Preferred experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, HP ALM, Selenium, TestRail, or similar testing and defect management tools.
• ISTQB Foundation Level, Certified Software Tester (CSTE), or an equivalent testing certification is preferred.
• Background in supporting VA, VHA, DHA, or other Federal healthcare organizations, health IT, telehealth, or Federal program management is preferred.
• Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a Level 3 Public Trust clearance.
