CAD Revit Design Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Develop precise and operationally effective layouts for commercial kitchens and equipment specifications utilizing CAD and Revit.

• Work collaboratively with both internal and external clients, architects, and engineers to incorporate kitchen designs into facility blueprints.

• Generate comprehensive KEC drawings, specifications, and documentation for construction and installation.

• Create mechanical drawings, including electrical and plumbing rough-ins, based on estimator cutbooks.

• Engage in meetings to offer design insights and project status updates.

• Adjust designs in response to client feedback, site conditions, and project modifications.

• Distribute drawings to external vendors for quoting purposes.

• Keep up-to-date with trends in kitchen equipment and technology to offer innovative solutions to clients.

• Evaluate designs for accuracy and completeness as part of the quality assurance process.

• Foster and maintain positive, professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma with technical training in CAD drafting and design.

• 2–4 years of experience within the food service industry.

• 1–2 years of proficiency with Microsoft Office.

• 2–4 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting and design.

• 1–2 years of experience with AutoCAD 2010.

• 1–2 years of experience using Revit or 3D Studio Max.

• 1–2 years of experience with AutoQuotes software specific to the commercial kitchen industry.

• Familiarity with drafting and drawing formatting standards.

• Understanding of mechanical drafting principles.

• Strong grasp of commercial kitchen design fundamentals and foodservice operations.

• Exceptional attention to detail paired with robust problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Experience in managing multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
