This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Develop and maintain the system test strategy to ensure it is current.
• Create, manage, and update scripts, artifacts, mocks, routines, and testing processes.
• Oversee the development of requests from inception and promote quality practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Validate outputs produced by development teams.
• Plan and conduct both functional and non-functional testing.
• Map and update the critical path for CAIXA applications.
• Assist with user acceptance activities for requests from the business owner.
• Advocate for the continuous enhancement of CAIXA application quality in collaboration with the certification team appointed by CAIXA.
• Ensure traceability between testing artifacts, requirements, source code, and other deliverables.
• Manage and create test data sets.
• Set up, configure, maintain, and align development and testing environments.
• Preserve the testing structure of involved operational systems.
• Design tests and produce strategies, plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Develop and execute both automated and manual scripts, documenting and analyzing outcomes.
• Conduct acceptance, compatibility, regression, integration, functional, exploratory, connectivity, vulnerability, stress, and load testing.
• Create mocks, stubs, and simulators.
• Assess non-functional performance requirements utilizing specialized tools and monitors.
• Track test coverage and promote its enhancement.
• Document defects and associate them with relevant work products.
• Review results from each test cycle.
• Provide support to managers and teams in the certification (homologation) of requests.
• Design tests based on business scenarios, personal experience, and defects encountered.
• Comprehend the operation of systems under test and create software test scenarios.
• Assist the Product Owner in defining acceptance criteria and approving sprint stories.
• Help in writing automated unit tests.
• Engage in ATDD, BDD, and/or Specification by Example.
• Manage system cycles in UAT and lab environments, including daily and monthly routines, batch jobs, and interfaces.
• Strategize and execute tests, aligning scope with available time.
• Conduct security tests and validations, identify vulnerabilities, and suggest improvements.
• Evaluate common security aspects as outlined by OWASP.
• Determine target test items to be assessed during the testing process.
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Data Processing, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or another related field in Information Technology.
• Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a specialization in Information Technology.
• Hold at least one required or equivalent certification: ATC, CBTS, CTFL, CTFL-AT, or ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level – Agile Tester.
• Familiarity with test management tools, defect management tools, test automation, test data generation, and service/interface virtualization.
• Understanding of requirement notations in both agile and traditional methodologies.
• Knowledge of defect types and software testing methodologies.
• Experience with test management, bug tracking, and test automation tools.
• Proven experience in test planning and management.
• Capability to create both automated and manual scripts using specialized tools.
• Proficiency in executing automated tests with varying test data pools (datapool).
• Skill in evaluating non-functional performance requirements using dedicated tools and monitors.
• Competence in performing security tests and validations, identifying vulnerabilities, and suggesting enhancements.
• Ability to assess common security aspects as specified by OWASP.
• Experience in producing fundamental test documentation, including plans, test scripts, evidence, and test data sets.
• Capacity to plan and execute tests while adhering to defined scope and deadlines.
• Ability to comprehend systems under test, business needs, programming, and testing.
• Skill in creating tests based on business scenarios, experiences, and identified defects.
• Ability to formulate software test scenarios.
• Proficiency in identifying common software faults and errors.
• Capability to assist in writing automated unit tests.
• Experience with ATDD, BDD, and/or Specification by Example methodologies.
