Quality Assurance Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Create and execute programs to establish and uphold quality standards for current products and services.

• Design initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of care provided to patients.

• Carry out advanced administrative, operational, and customer support tasks autonomously.

• Formulate policies, procedures, and methods to assess and enhance operational quality.

• Educate and mentor staff and management in quality improvement, process management, and reliability science.

• Maintain communication with administration, medical personnel, and department leaders regarding quality assurance efforts.

• Manage priorities for requests and interpret or modify administrative procedures, processes, and techniques.

• Participate in occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.

• Self-motivated individual capable of thriving with minimal supervision or direct managerial guidance.

• Strong analytical abilities and decision-making skills.

• Excellent verbal and listening communication skills.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Commitment to contributing to an organization dedicated to continuously enhancing consumer experiences.

• Ability to provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a home office environment.

• Minimum internet speed of 25 Mbps for downloads and 10 Mbps for uploads.

• Satellite and wireless internet services are not permitted.

• Dedicated workspace free from ongoing interruptions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information.

• Preferred: Experience as an auditor.

• Preferred: Background in quality assurance.
