Test Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold the system test strategy.

• Create, maintain, and revise test scripts, artifacts, simulators, routines, and testing processes.

• Monitor requirements from inception and support quality practices throughout the development lifecycle.

• Validate outputs from development teams.

• Plan and carry out both functional and non-functional testing.

• Map and refresh the critical path of applications.

• Assist in acceptance and UAT of requests and user stories with business stakeholders and the Product Owner.

• Foster continuous enhancement of application quality.

• Ensure traceability among test artifacts, requirements, source code, and other artifacts.

• Manage and create test data sets.

• Oversee, configure, maintain, and standardize development, staging (homologation), lab, and test environments.

• Conduct acceptance, compatibility, regression, integration, functional, exploratory, connectivity, vulnerability, stress, and load testing.

• Develop mocks, stubs, and simulators.

• Assess non-functional performance and security requirements, including OWASP considerations.

• Document defects, analyze outcomes, and track test coverage.

• Design tests based on business scenarios, user experiences, and defects.

• Utilize ATDD, BDD, and/or Specification by Example methodologies.

• Maintain system cycles and daily, monthly, batch routines, and interfaces.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Data Processing, Information Systems, Informatics, Computer Engineering, or other IT-related disciplines; or a bachelor's degree in any field with a focus on Information Technology.

• At least one of the following certifications (or equivalent): ATC/IBQTS, CBTS/ALATS, CTFL or CTFL-AT / ISTQB / BSTQB.

• Proficient in test management, defect management, bug tracking, test automation, performance testing tools, test data generation, and virtualized interfaces.

• Experience in test management and planning.

• Capable of producing test documentation, including strategies, plans, test cases, test scripts/scenarios, evidence, and scripts.

• Skilled in creating and executing automated and manual scripts using variable data pools (datapools).

• Knowledgeable in acceptance, compatibility, regression, integration, functional, non-functional, security, performance, stress, and load testing.

• Familiar with ATDD, BDD, and/or Specification by Example.

• Understanding of requirements in both agile and traditional models.

• Able to build mocks, stubs, and simulators.

• Awareness of vulnerabilities and security techniques, including OWASP.

• Proficient in planning and executing tests based on scope and timelines.

• Competent in identifying target items, defects, bugs, and software vulnerabilities.

• Understanding of business domain, requirements, programming, and testing throughout the development lifecycle.
