Mid-level Test Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain the system test strategy to ensure it is current

• Create, sustain, and revise test scripts and related artifacts

• Oversee the development of requests from initial conception and support quality practices throughout the entire development cycle

• Validate deliverables produced by development teams

• Plan and carry out both functional and non-functional testing

• Map and update the critical path for CAIXA applications

• Assist in user-manager acceptance of requests

• Encourage ongoing enhancement of the quality of CAIXA applications

• Ensure traceability among test artifacts, requirements, and source code

• Manage and produce test data

• Manage, configure, maintain, and standardize both development and test environments

• Maintain test data, scripts, artifacts, simulators, routines, and business processes

• Design and execute both automated and manual scripts while recording and analyzing the outcomes

• Conduct acceptance, compatibility, regression, integration, functional, and non-functional tests

• Construct mocks, stubs, and simulators

• Assess system performance and security

• Monitor test coverage and advocate for its improvement

• Document defects and assess results from test cycles

• Aid managers and teams in the validation and approval of requests

• Support the Product Owner with acceptance criteria and sprint story validation

• Execute ATDD, BDD, and/or Specification by Example

• Maintain cycles, daily and monthly routines, batch jobs, and interfaces in designated environments

• Plan and carry out tests based on scope and available time

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Data Processing, Information Systems, Informatics, Computer Engineering, or a related Information Technology field; or a bachelor's degree in any discipline with a specialization in Information Technology

• At least one required certification: ATC from IBQTS, CBTS from ALATS or equivalent, CTFL, or CTFL-AT / ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level – Agile Tester

• Proficient in test management, defect tracking, test automation, test data generation, and virtualized interfaces

• Experience in test planning and management

• Competence in creating automated and manual scripts and executing tests with varying data sets (datapool)

• Knowledgeable in functional, non-functional, acceptance, compatibility, regression, integration, exploratory, connectivity, vulnerability, stress, and load testing

• Familiarity with mocks, stubs, and simulators

• Understanding of non-functional performance requirements and the use of specific tools and monitors

• Knowledge of requirement notations in both agile and traditional models

• Ability to formulate tests based on business scenarios, experiences, and defects

• Comprehension of systems under test, business needs, requirements, programming, and testing principles

• Familiarity with ATDD, BDD, and/or Specification by Example

• Understanding of software security, vulnerabilities, and OWASP

• Proficient with tools specialized in automation, performance, and test planning, management, and execution

• Experience with test documentation, including plans, scripts, evidence, and test data

• Knowledge of bug tracking and automated testing tools
