Test Analyst, Junior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Gather and define test cases for functionality validation

• Develop and update test scenarios (test plans) as the product progresses

• Assist in establishing acceptance criteria and understanding business rules

• Conduct functional tests to verify the quality and behavior of features

• Execute API tests to ensure compliance, security, and validation of services

• Carry out usability tests with an emphasis on user experience

• Identify, log, and document defects in a clear and traceable manner

• Validate fixes and execute regression tests to guarantee application stability

• Collaborate closely with the development team to analyze and resolve issues

• Implement and maintain automated tests using existing frameworks

• Facilitate the integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

• Engage in agile rituals, providing analysis on quality, risks, and enhancements

• Document test scenarios, strategies, results, and evidence

• Contribute to product quality assurance and the continual improvement of testing processes

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Analysis and Development, Computer Engineering, or related fields

• Understanding of requirements traceability (RTM)

• Expertise in testing techniques such as equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, and exploratory testing

• Experience in functional testing and API testing

• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence applied to test generation and optimization

• Proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript, or .NET for test automation

• Experience in test automation and managing automated test suites

• Familiarity with web systems, HTTP/HTTPS protocols, and APIs

• Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Robot Framework, Pytest, or JUnit

• Understanding of continuous integration (CI/CD) in relation to automated test execution

• Familiarity with mocks and stubs for simulating test scenarios

• Knowledge of QA environments and DevOps pipelines for test execution

• Comprehension of quality metrics and indicators such as test coverage, defect metrics, and automated test metrics

• Ability to prepare and present quality indicators, aiding in the continuous improvement of development processes and minimizing rework
