Quality Engineer Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Acquire knowledge and hands-on experience regarding fits and tolerances for various components.

• Learn and implement root cause analysis techniques to uncover fundamental quality issues.

• Create comprehensive inspection reports based on assessments and measurements of product quality.

• Understand inward material acceptance processes and carry out quality checks.

• Ensure accurate and timely issuance of materials from stores to the assembly line.

• Assist in managing Goods Received Memos (GRMs) and material request documentation.

• Conduct First-In, First-Out (FIFO) analysis to promote stock rotation and reduce waste.

• Take part in stock verification and uphold precise inventory records.

• Join quality engineers in vendor site inspections to evaluate quality standards.

• Get acquainted with quality-control and measurement tools and instruments.

• Help in digitizing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for quality control and stores management.

• Complete weekly byte-sized project outcomes.

• Report task updates to the Project Management Executive.

• Undertake additional tasks assigned by the mentor or supervisor in alignment with project needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A strong passion for quality engineering and stores management.

• A keen interest in acquiring practical experience in a factory setting.

• Educational qualification: BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

• Work experience ranging from 0 to 1 year.

• Full-time interns must be available from 11 AM to 5 PM in the virtual office.

• Part-time interns should be available for either 11 AM to 2 PM or 2 PM to 5 PM.

• Off-Time Batch interns need to report to the virtual office between 5 PM and 6:30 PM.

• Capability to provide task updates to the Project Management Executive.
