This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +3 more states.
• Demonstrate proficient appointment setting abilities to achieve the designated number of appointments each week with the appropriate decision makers.

• Apply professional selling techniques
• Identify the incremental and programmatic needs of prospects
• Clearly communicates the value propositions, capabilities, products, and assortments of Staples across all categories
• Skilled in overcoming objections and successfully closing sales.
• Leverage designated selling tools to prioritize tasks, enhance efficiency, and document customer interactions and information.
• Internal Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with customer support/setup teams and category specialists to advance deals to closure
• Execute and promote compliance with new account/program wins
• Knowledge of the buying processes within the prospect's industry and the ability to assist with product selection and standardization
• Develop enduring customer relationships that encourage ongoing purchases from Staples
• Incorporate feedback from prospects into the sales strategy
• Manage new customer assortments and pricing
• Internal Collaboration: The individual must communicate and collaborate closely with Category Specialists and Support teams
• Customer Engagement: The individual is responsible for daily professional communication with prospects in person and face-to-face
• A minimum of 1 year of successful sales experience or proven success as a Staples B2B Sales Associate
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong ambition and a desire to succeed
• Demonstrated ability to view rejection as a learning opportunity
• Experience and established success in business development
• Strong skills in developing and delivering presentations both virtually and in person
• Expertise in consultative selling, solutions selling, insight selling, negotiation, and advanced client management
• Ability to collaborate with product category sales team members
• Strong understanding of business, finance, operations, and technology
• Capability to analyze business and industry trends to create customized solutions for prospects based on Staples' value proposition
• Ability to operate independently with minimal daily oversight
• Motivation and ability to find, develop, and close sales
• Proven work ethic and self-discipline
• Ability to thrive in a competitive sales or goal-oriented environment
