This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +5 more states.
• Accountable for implementing both strategic and tactical selling as well as demand generation strategies.
• Overseeing the coverage of existing customer accounts.
• Identifying and cultivating new potential customer targets through direct account coverage.
• Coordinating the selling efforts of Benshaw's contracted Manufacturer’s Representatives and authorized Distribution partners.
• Maintaining high levels of customer engagement to ensure exceptional service.
• Responsible for effective coverage and relationship development with both existing customers and new target accounts.
• Executing defined Benshaw strategic initiatives and programs, including Manufacturer’s and Channel Programs.
• Fully utilizing the company’s Customer Relationship Management tools to enhance sales performance.
• Fostering a culture of collaboration with internal teams to achieve NPS, margin, and market share goals.
• Monitoring and documenting trends related to customers, industry, competitors, and the market to guide future strategic and commercial initiatives.
• Delivering product and solution training and education to key customers.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Must reside within the sales territory: Western NY, Western PA, Eastern OH, Eastern KY, WV, and Western VA.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering, sales, marketing, and/or product marketing within a related industry that involves selling technology-driven products.
• Proven track record in strategic and solution selling methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience with Medium Voltage Drives, Medium Voltage Soft Starters, and Full Voltage Controls.
• Ability to influence and negotiate while understanding large project opportunities and repeat business, including technical, commercial, and legal aspects.
• Capability to interpret a wide range of technical instructions in both mathematical and diagram formats.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
• Proficient in effectively presenting information to senior management, customers, channel partners, and other organizational employees.
• Able to work independently while consistently meeting deadlines.
• Strong commitment to customer service and teamwork is essential.
• Willingness to travel 50% or more, depending on customer requirements.
