This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Dealer Acquisition
• - Identify and secure new dealer accounts within your designated territory
• - Focus on independent window covering retailers, blind and shade shops, franchise operators, AV integrators, custom installation companies, and specialized home furnishing retailers
• - Develop a territory pipeline from the ground up through outbound outreach, referrals, trade events, personal visits, and local market development
• - Conduct live product demonstrations in-store utilizing MOTORYSE demo kits
• - Leverage the 60-second retrofit installation as a critical selling point during dealer presentations
• Dealer Onboarding
• - Assist new dealers in comprehending the MOTORYSE product range, pricing, profit margins, and sales methodology
• - Familiarize dealers with the MOTORYSE dealer portal, sales collateral, training videos, and co-branded marketing materials
• - Train dealers on effective product positioning to homeowners
• - Support initial orders, ensuring that every dealer has a defined pathway to commence sales
• Territory Management
• - Keep an organized CRM pipeline with weekly updates
• - Provide monthly territory reports to the Head of Sales
• - Visit active dealer accounts to foster relationships and facilitate reorder activity
• - Recognize opportunities for multi-unit orders, contractor packages, commercial projects, and bulk purchases
• - Represent MOTORYSE at regional trade shows, dealer events, and industry gatherings
• - Relay market feedback, competitive insights, and dealer input to the product and marketing teams
• Minimum of 2 years of B2B field sales experience
• Experience in selling to one or more of the following channels:
• - Window coverings
• - Blinds and shades
• - AV or custom integration
• - Smart home technology
• - Building products
• - Home furnishings
• - Home improvement products
• Established relationships with dealers, retailers, installers, franchise operators, or integrators within your territory
• Demonstrated capability to open new accounts and develop a business portfolio from scratch
• Comfortable conducting in-person product demonstrations and installation walkthroughs
• Strong prospecting skills and ease with cold outreach
• Experience with CRM systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, or similar platforms
• Valid driver's license, dependable vehicle, and readiness to travel frequently within your territory
• Preferred Experience
• - Direct experience in the window covering sector
• - Knowledge of dealer margins, installer economics, and showroom sales
• - Experience selling through AV, CEDIA, or custom integration channels
• - Experience in launching new products into a dealer network
• - Solid understanding of smart home products and connected home technology
• Compensation for this role includes a base salary, commission, dealer activation bonuses, and quarterly performance bonuses.
• Base Salary: $40,000 annually, paid monthly
• New Dealer Activation Bonus: $150 for each net-new dealer who places a qualifying first order (minimum order of 2 hero products).
• Commission on Sales: Up to 5%, based on a sliding scale
• Estimated Earnings at Target:
• - Year 1 - $90,000+
• - Year 2 - $115,000+
• - Year 3 - $130,000+
• Earnings depend on dealer activation, reorder volume, active dealer count, and territory performance. An earnings calculator will be provided to candidates to model expected income based on territory growth and dealer activity.
