This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Drive profitable growth within the designated territory.
• Influence independent agents to promote Hallmark Auto and Renters products.
• Foster both existing and new agency partnerships.
• Generate production growth and implement business plans to meet sales targets.
• Collaborate with sales and product leadership.
• Identify new opportunities and actively seek agency appointments.
• Conduct visits to current agencies and engage in various field sales activities.
• Manage and nurture a territory consisting of independent agents.
• Seek out new agency partners while maintaining robust relationships with agents across all agency tiers.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to reach sales objectives.
• Drive growth in new business policies and premiums.
• Evaluate the agency's business mix, retention, and profitability outcomes.
• Oversee the onboarding and training of agencies on Hallmark products and best practices.
• Deliver effective presentations to large groups and influence behaviors through consultative selling.
• Assess agency partnerships for profitability.
• Attend and engage in industry conventions, events, or association meetings.
• Share insights on industry trends, competitor developments, product feedback, and market opportunities.
• Maintain up-to-date records of field activities, contact details, sales strategies, agency appointment documentation, and other essential reports.
• Travel regularly across the assigned territory.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or 3-5 years of experience in insurance sales.
• Working knowledge of non-standard auto insurance operations, including claims, coverage, products, and underwriting.
• Bi-Lingual (English and Spanish) is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Capability to analyze and interpret report data using spreadsheets.
• Ability to assess statistical data from company records and formulate action plans based on insights.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Flexible, adaptable, and highly motivated self-starter.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the assigned territory.
• Expected to engage in 30% overnight travel.
