This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Drive profitable growth within the designated territory.
• Influence independent agents to promote Hallmark Auto and Renters products.
• Cultivate both existing and new agency relationships.
• Generate production growth and implement business plans to meet sales targets.
• Communicate effectively with sales and product leadership.
• Identify new opportunities and pursue agency appointments.
• Visit current agencies and engage in various field sales activities.
• Manage and develop a territory comprised of independent agents.
• Seek new agency partners and sustain relationships with agents at all levels.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to accomplish sales objectives.
• Drive growth in new business policies and premium revenue.
• Evaluate agency business mix, retention rates, and profitability outcomes.
• Onboard and train agencies on Hallmark products and best practices, including underwriting guidelines, programs, websites, and rating tools.
• Deliver engaging presentations to large groups and influence actions through consultative selling.
• Assess agency relationships for profitability.
• Attend and engage in industry conventions, events, groups, and associations.
• Communicate industry trends, competitor developments, product feedback, and market opportunities.
• Maintain up-to-date field activity records, contact information, sales strategies, agency appointment documentation, reports, and other necessary paperwork.
• Travel regularly throughout the assigned territory as a field sales representative.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or 3-5 years of experience in insurance sales.
• Working knowledge of non-standard auto insurance operations, encompassing claims, coverage, products, and underwriting.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Capability to analyze and interpret report data using spreadsheets.
• Ability to interpret statistical data from company records and formulate action plans based on insights.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Flexible, highly motivated self-starter.
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory, including 30% overnight travel.
