This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +5 more states.
• Create and implement a detailed sales strategy in partnership with the National and Regional Management Teams, defining primary goals, target demographics, and approaches to execute and assess sales tactics for optimal alignment, effectiveness, and efficiency across Territory, Region, and Super Region.
• Collaborate with the National and Regional Manager, working closely with Representative Agencies Sales Teams to carry out daily tactical initiatives, focusing on Residential New Construction and Repair and Remodel Contractors.
• Design, implement, evaluate, and report on High Efficiency Product Specification, Installation, Repair, and Sales Training Programs to promote the adoption of Heat Pump, Condensing Tank, and Tankless water heating technologies.
• Establish, execute, and monitor sales objectives to guide Representative Agency members in achieving their targets through tactical plan execution.
• Identify and seek new business prospects within the territory to enhance market sales and share using relationships, tools, and technologies like Dodge or other information service platforms.
• Develop and sustain robust relationships with current customers, distribution branch teams, and contractors to maximize sales potential and foster customer loyalty.
• Evaluate training and results by customer to ensure adoption, specification, knowledge retention, and product market share position.
• Track, assess, and communicate performance metrics to inform plan enhancements.
• Investigate and pinpoint new potential clients and market opportunities.
• Provide prompt and effective solutions that align with customer needs.
• Work in conjunction with Marketing and Product Development to maintain brand consistency and meet customer requirements.
• Stay informed on new product launches, competitor activities, and industry trends to keep the Sales team up-to-date.
• Compile quarterly and annual sales assessments and forecasts.
• 5+ years of sales experience.
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
• Demonstrated history of surpassing sales objectives and cultivating long-term relationships.
• Preferred experience with plumbing contractors, the construction trade, homebuilders, manufacturers' representatives, and wholesale distribution.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to effectively navigate the negotiation process.
• A self-motivated individual with excellent independent work capabilities, adept at prioritizing tasks and understanding opportunity costs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and various sales tools.
• Sales experience within the plumbing industry.
• Background in a high-performance, customer-facing sales team.
