This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Territory Sales Manager - ES is accountable for strategizing, organizing, guiding, and coordinating the activities of the sales team within Environmental Services.
• Consistently achieves results through exceptional performance.
• Oversees a team of sales and administrative staff, with responsibilities including hiring, training, and performance coaching and management.
• Regularly evaluates sales activity funnels and outcomes in relation to new sales and retention objectives.
• Guides the assigned sales team by establishing and implementing “value selling and a standardized sales process.”
• Cultivates an environment that promotes professional development and career growth.
• Collaborates with business unit teams to comprehend and implement key processes, while identifying and resolving constraints and proactively addressing customer challenges.
• Aids in the solicitation of new customers, bid preparation, and strategies for customer retention.
• At least 3 years of progressive experience in a sales position, including experience in peer leadership or supervising other sales staff. (Required.)
• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• Valid driver’s license (Required)
• 5 years of experience in a role that involves supervising or managing sales personnel and activities (preferred)
• Proficient in using business and sales software (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Salesforce, or other CRM tools).
• Experience in developing comprehensive strategies.
• Demonstrated experience managing within a matrix organization across a large geographic area.
• Strong time management skills to ensure that assigned responsibilities are fulfilled efficiently.
• Experience with an emphasis on sales, client relations, and/or business development, with proven expertise in petro-chemical in-plant waste management, environmental services, and industrial services, including hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams.
