This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Acquire knowledge of Victaulic products and mechanical pipe joining solutions.
• Understand competing pipe-joining techniques, construction cycles, market trends, and competitor activities.
• Engage with local trade organizations and professional associations within the designated territory.
• Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to create a business plan that includes opportunity mapping, sales objectives, product promotion strategies, and sales tactics.
• Manage project pursuits and oversee project management from inception through design, specifications, drawings, bidding, job-site training and support, commissioning, and post-sale follow-up.
• Collect application, specification, pricing, and timing details for quotation requests.
• Direct inside sales, engineering, and support teams to fulfill customer needs.
• Establish and sustain relationships with mechanical contractors, engineers, building owners, project stakeholders, and distributors.
• Coordinate with Victaulic representatives and regional market specialists to guarantee the optimal customer experience.
• Inform customers about Victaulic products and their benefits.
• Perform tool demonstrations, installation training, and presentations for contractors and engineers.
• Persuade decision-makers and maximize sales opportunities within the territory.
• Travel across the territory, which may include overnight travel and participation in customer events outside regular business hours.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred, though not mandatory.
• Previous sales experience in selling value-added products or services is preferred, especially in commercial construction, PVF, or mechanical products.
• Proven track record of sales achievements.
• Experience in developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
