This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
• Formulate detailed business plans to achieve sales objectives within the designated territory.
• Assess market dynamics, competitor actions, and customer requirements to guide strategic decisions.
• Educate, mentor, and assist local grower and retail representatives to ensure they achieve their goals.
• Guarantee that the network of seed treaters in the area is fully functional during the spring planting season and well-maintained post-use in the summer.
• Advocate for Pivot Bio NOVATOR Sustainability initiatives.
• Strategically segment the territory to optimize sales potential.
• Conduct regular field visits with grower customers and prospects to promote Pivot Bio offerings.
• Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the agriculture sector.
• Recruit, onboard, and guide sales representatives in partnership with Regional Distribution Managers.
• Support Sales Representatives in invoicing and collection efforts, including enrollment in Pivot Bio-sponsored financing programs.
• Collaborate with commercial agronomists to launch next-generation products and implement strategies to regain customers, ensuring alignment on agronomic solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and drive business growth.
• Travel four days a week within the assigned territory to interact with customers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in the agriculture industry, ideally in biotech or agribusiness sales.
• Demonstrated success in agricultural sales and team leadership.
• Willingness to travel 4 days a week to meet clients and conduct fieldwork.
• Capability to walk on uneven terrain.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Proficiency with CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
