This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +17 more states.
• Engage with both existing and prospective customers to sell replacement spare parts and services, including audits, repairs, and rebuilds, to achieve the company's strategic objectives and business goals.
• Oversee after-sales support and negotiate contracts effectively.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to maximize sales and profitability for the company.
• Create personal sales plans and nurture customer relationships.
• Enhance and adhere to the customer contact process to ensure sales targets are attained.
• Facilitate effective communication with team members to guarantee timely delivery and high-quality products.
• Generate accurate and timely sales forecasts.
• Identify potential business opportunities.
• Participate in company sales meetings to foster better communication, understanding, and teamwork.
• Provide and input information pertinent to quotes, opportunities, on-site plant visits, and follow-ups using existing platforms (Salesforce, SAP, etc.) to meet the expectations of CPM managers, team members, and customers.
• This role requires 35% to 50% travel (12-16 visits per month) within the designated territory to build customer relations and ultimately enhance CPM Process Solutions sales of aftermarket parts and services.
• A proactive approach, concentrating on discovering new customers and opportunities for CPM products.
• Understanding of industry theories and practices, including chemistry and engineering.
• A degree in mechanical, industrial, or chemical engineering is strongly preferred.
• A solid background in sales management, industrial sales, selling processes, and B2B marketing.
• Proficiency in analytical thinking and problem-solving.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
• Capability to persuade and negotiate effectively.
• Proficient in selling/closing based on value propositions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Exceptional time management skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when necessary.
• Capacity to operate under tight deadlines and pressure.
• Adaptability to function effectively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Familiarity with ERP applications (SAP) and Microsoft applications (Teams, SharePoint, Office).
• A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering.
• At least 5 years of industry-related experience, with a preference for experience with Twin Screw Extruders and Ring Extruders.
