This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Establish and enhance relationships with plumbing wholesalers, contractors, builders, plumbers, and other trade professionals across the assigned territory.
• Expand an existing client portfolio by identifying opportunities to increase product utilization and foster stronger customer relationships.
• Create and implement territory sales strategies that align with annual sales targets and promote sustainable business growth.
• Present merchandising, marketing, and promotional initiatives to deliver customer value and enhance market visibility.
• Provide exceptional customer service through site visits, proactive outreach, and prompt follow-ups.
• Inform customers through product demonstrations, training sessions, trade shows, and industry events.
• Collaborate with Territory Managers, Strategic Account Managers, Business Development Managers, and Regional leadership.
• Maintain ongoing communication with key accounts to ensure satisfaction and uncover new opportunities.
• Utilize CRM tools and company sales methodologies to oversee customer relationships, territory activities, and sales prospects.
• Relay customer feedback, market trends, and competitive insights to internal teams.
• Represent Moen and Fortune Brands Innovations with professionalism and integrity.
• Oversee territory-related travel and administrative tasks.
• A minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience, ideally within plumbing, building materials, construction products, or a related sector.
• Proven track record in building and nurturing relationships with plumbing wholesalers, distributors, plumbers, builders, contractors, or channel partners.
• Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
• Experience in product presentations, conducting customer training, and supporting sales and marketing efforts.
• Capacity to work autonomously and manage a territory effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Must reside within the greater Portland/Vancouver area.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, primarily by vehicle, including approximately 2 to 3 overnight trips each month.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in selling plumbing products, faucets, fixtures, or building materials is preferred.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar is preferred.
