This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +3 more states.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with upfitters to foster advocacy for Miller Work Truck Solutions and collaborate on strategies that promote mutual growth for partners and ITW.
• Enhance product adoption of Miller Work Truck Solutions by designing and implementing targeted account plans for both upfitters and key end-user accounts.
• Execute territory growth strategies by formulating account plans that boost sales and increase market share within designated regions.
• Lead product trials and demonstrations to facilitate conversions and cross-selling opportunities, utilizing technical specialists as necessary to maximize outcomes.
• Articulate Miller’s value proposition by identifying market drivers and customer challenges, employing a consultative, evidence-driven sales methodology.
• Organize upfitter training on product knowledge, application, and service best practices.
• Work collaboratively with marketing on campaigns, promotional planning, and the local implementation of national initiatives.
• Represent the brand at industry trade shows, association events, and customer-facing engagements on both national and regional levels.
• Develop industry connections by actively engaging in relevant associations and professional networks.
• Assist in New Product Development by serving as the divisional liaison within the territory, offering market insights and customer feedback.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline through persistent prospecting, opportunity management, and CRM documentation, including win/loss analysis.
• Communicate effectively across all levels, fostering strong internal and external relationships to enhance customer success and collaboration.
• Strategically prioritize by concentrating on high-impact accounts and activities through an 80/20 lens, while effectively leveraging internal and external resources.
• At least 5 years of relevant sales experience.
• Technical Certificate, Associate, or Bachelor's degree in a Technical or Business Discipline is required.
• Demonstrated success in developing positive customer relationships.
• Possess a Challenger mindset, capable of educating end-users to reconsider their business strategies.
• Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities are essential.
• Must be disciplined, self-motivated, and a team player to thrive in an independent and self-directed environment with minimal supervision.
• Significant travel within the territory is required.
• Strong value-selling skills with a proven ability to secure new business.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
