
Territory Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Accountable for driving revenue within an assigned territory by fostering loyalty and establishing new accounts.
• Frequently visit healthcare professional (HCP) offices in person within a designated sales territory to meet budgeted sales targets and other defined objectives.
• Employ CRM tools for pre-call preparations and post-call documentation to ensure effective territory oversight.
• Continue to enhance strategies for promoting whole-food nutritional supplements in the HCP market.
• Analyze and interpret market data to support the development of these strategies.
• Collaborate closely with inside sales partners to generate leads, schedule appointments, follow up, and resolve customer issues.
• Provide insights to sales operations and marketing teams to create training and educational resources for HCPs.
• Facilitate educational sessions for HCPs and distributor sales representatives via in-person and virtual lunch-and-learn events.
• Build and sustain professional relationships with industry opinion leaders to maximize growth opportunities.
• Leverage these relationships to expand the HCP network.
• Utilize Scientific Liaisons and other internal resources to ensure prompt responses to customer inquiries.
• Attend all new hire orientations, ongoing training sessions, and headquarters meetings as required.
• Travel to regional or national trade shows and conferences to represent Standard Process at the exhibitor booth.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
• A valid driver's license is mandatory.
• 3-5 years of experience in outside sales is required.
• Sales experience, preferably in the practitioner channel, representing natural or complementary/alternative products (e.g., health and wellness, supplements, pharmaceuticals).
• A solid understanding of basic nutrition principles.
• Experience in analyzing sales and demographic data.
• Proven track record of success in product sales and territory development.
• Familiarity with reporting and presenting sales data and activities.
• Proficient in using a CRM system, preferably Salesforce.com.
• Comprehensive knowledge of sales and marketing principles, as well as modern sales tactics and best practices.
• Understanding of the applications of SP Formulas.
• Knowledge of the natural products marketplace.
• Ability to engage with HCPs at a sophisticated level.
• Strong analytical skills, capable of utilizing sales data analysis to form strategies, tactics, and practices that will enhance the HCP marketplace.
• Ability to drive sales to closure through persistence and follow-through.
• Highly organized.
• Exceptional presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software such as Salesforce.com.
• Capability to manage multiple projects or tasks concurrently.
• Ability to conduct financial analysis.
• Willingness to travel.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a polished and adaptable style.
